Gemina, when Armenia and Monferrato recognize each other

Gazzetta d’Asti – April 17, 2026

Following the press conference in Asti, Gazzetta d’Asti delves into the heart of Gemina: two distant territories that “reflect each other as in a mirror.”

The article provides a detailed account of the documentary presented at Teatro Alfieri: 75 minutes filmed between December and February in Yerevan, Venice, Paris, Turin, and the Asti area, built on 24 interviews in four languages spanning art and entrepreneurship, culture, the Armenian diaspora, and winemaking. The president of SiAmo il Monferrato, Simona Paniati, illustrates the training program that involved four young people from Fondazione Time2 in the production, while project manager Silvia Izzo shares that she truly feels “at home” only in Monferrato and Armenia. The stated objective of the promoters is to raise awareness of two territories still little known to the general public and attract tourism and investors. The piece announces the preview on April 21 at the Anteo in Milan, the Turin screening on May 14, a screening in Asti in June, and the submission to the Yerevan Film Festival. In closing, the publication previews the upcoming chapters of the project, dedicated to Romania and Japan, and the other strands of the association: Convivia, Futura, and Vivere.
